In 1694 Rosicrucian settlers made the perilous journey across the Atlantic Ocean in a specially chartered vessel, the Sarah Maria, under the leadership of Johannes Kelpius, master of a Rosicrucian Lodge in Europe. Landing in Philadelphia, the colonists established their first settlement and later moved further west in Pennsylvania to Ephrata. These Rosicrucian communities made valuable contributions to the newly emerging American culture in the fields of printing, philosophy, the sciences and arts. Later such eminent Americans as Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson, and Thomas Paine were intimately connected with the Rosicrucian community. In fact, many Rosicrucians played an important role in the great alchemical and social process leading to the founding of a new nation.

I have decided to let the Bible speak for itself on this one since it does it so very clearly. No exposition necessary. Only note the words "Egypt," "mystery" and "secret" from the web page above compared to the verses below. As above, so below (yes I just made a Luciferian pun. Sigh. I'll have to work on that...)

Also, one more note: keep in mind what it says here about how dangerous it was to proclaim to be anything but a Christian in those times. Most occultists claimed to be Christians since it was the expected norm, but practiced esotericism in more private settings. So when you hear of people like Benjamin Franklin, Thomas Jefferson and Thomas Paine being Rosicrucians it is most likely a deduction based on their behavior and words which seemed to deviate from Christianity and lean towards Rosicrucianism, which favors religious pluralism and ecumenicalism (meaning everyone worships the same God in different ways, which is apostasy from the Christian belief that Christ Jesus is the only path to God).

But the Lord has taken you and brought you out of the iron furnace, out of Egypt, to be His people, an inheritance, as you are this day.

Revelation 18

OK I will offer up a short exposition. I just can't help it. Mystery, Babylon is clearly a reference to the spiritual climate of the world as we see it today, which is steeped in syncretistic unity. This unity is the perception that every person has his own path to God, which is moral relativism denying the divinity and character of Christ Yahshua and the sovereign authority of Father Yahweh. I'm not convinced that Mystery, Babylon is a place like some people claim but rather a state of being in the the world that ties in directly with the spiritual mark of the beast.
