Virgin Mary - Worshiping an Idol Plain and Simple

The Catholics I know as well as those who follow orthodoxy say they don't "worship" Mary, they merely pray to her as an intercessor, but is it not worship to pray to someone whom God has not told you to pray to? I couldn't possibly put all the evidence to support this in a FB post but here is a song I came across, beautiful as it may sound, is all about worshiping Mary.

Read the lyrics here and tell me that this song isn't exalting Mary above all the angels, cherubim and all of the heavens to a position that is completely unbiblical, coming between us and our ONLY intercessor, Christ Yahshua. No one inherits the throne with Christ until after His return and no one receives their glorified bodies until He gives it to them after this event transpires.

"Queen of all...higher than the heavens...superior to Angels...More hon'rable than Cherubim/ beyond compare more glorious than immaterial Seraphim/ and greater than angelic thrones..."

This clearly a prayer to her. They capitalize her titles as Queen of Heaven, Blessed Virgin, Mother of God, etc. "Mother of God"? That places her above God. In pictures and statues she is shown holding the still infant Jesus. So how can one not see that she is being exalted higher even than God Himself? Oh but the Catholics say that she is at the feet of Christ. Then why are your idols saying otherwise? When we see statues of Mary high above everything else is she not exalted above God? Should she even be exalted at all? The simple answer - No, she shouldn't.
"Hail Mary, full of grace."
Hail? Hail Caesar? Hail Hitler? We don't use that term lightly in our society except perhaps to hail a cab. In the case of religion I think it's safe to say it is a sign of worship. Hitler demanded to be literally worshiped like many of the Caesars did. Also, consider that worship is not limited to bowing down to something or someone (as is done with Mary statues often). Worship is anything exalted instead of God. God alone deserves credit for absolutely everything. No saint, prophet or idol should ever be worshiped or prayed to. This is equivalent to mediumship and sorcery. Saul violated God's commandments when he consulted a witch to speak to Samuel.

The title Queen of Heaven is given to ancient pagan gods such as Ashtoreth in the Bible (mother goddess of the Canaanites and Syrians whom God passed harsh judgment upon the Israelites for worshiping). Isis of Egypt and Semiramis of Babylon are the same thing. The same syncretism with pagan religions occurs in the veneration of Mary. If the idolatry here does not convince you there are plenty of other obvious violations against God in Catholicism to look to if you have eyes to see.

This article describes the difference between Catholic and orthodox doctrine concerning Mary.
"the Church does not accept the idea that the Mother of God was born with the (inherited) guilt of Adam; no one is."
Wrong. All are under the curse of the Fall. Where do they get this from? All have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. But evidently Mary was made Holy at conception rather than at judgment like "all" who have sinned. The angels demand not to be worshiped. Christ Himself points to the Father and states He is the ONLY way to Him. This is made perfectly clear in many places of the Bible.

"The Holy Spirit prepared the Virgin Mary for her role as the Mother of God"

Why all the capital titles if not deified into the godhead? Is not Christ's name capitalized in Scripture to signify His ultimate authority? You cannot tell me you do not worship Mary. To say so is to be willingly deceived and becomes a serious issue of salvation. God clearly hates idolatry, and idolatry is anything that takes away from the worship of the Father by the one path He has provided to Him, Christ Yahshua. If these believers spent as much time praying to Him as they do to Mary perhaps they would see the truth. But if you insist on usurping His authority He will turn you over to a reprobate mind. Come out her (the harlot church) and do not partake of her sins.
